Award winning gospel music artiste to ‘wash away sins’ with Ariel

Procter & Gamble (P&G) through its Ariel brand has partnered with award winning gospel music Artist, to be its brand ambassador in East Africa.

Apart from both Mercy Masika and the Ariel brand being household names, they both have a mission for empowering women- wanting to see them have a better life.

“Mercy is not only a celebrated household name, but she is also a resilient woman. She has an eye for value and is the best person to champion Ariel for what it truly is—the detergent that delivers the best value for money by guaranteeing one wash to remove all stains,”

said Francisco Gala the Ariel Brand Manager.

Today, Ariel is the market leader in the detergent category and is delighted to be partnering with one of the most prolific gospel musicians in Kenya. In this difficult times the brand believes that Mercy Masika will continue to uplift Kenyans through her music and that the Ariel brand will also continue to offer great value as the Ariel buyer is assured of saving on both time and water- both of which are scarce resources.

“Ariel has the message of best value in these tough times, and as a consumer of the product, I bear witness to the promise of one wash. I appreciate this opportunity to work with Ariel as it is a brand that interacts with many women educating and uplifting them. Last week I joined them for a session in Ruiru and it was an exciting opportunity as I interacted and sang with the women .  As a mentor for women in my foundation, I see this as an opportunity to reach a greater number of women and offer them hope and inspiration”

said Mercy Masika, Ariel Brand ambassador.

Ariel will work with Mercy going round various women’s group all over the country not only teaching them best ways to wash but also on what it means to be a smart woman, a woman of value. Ariel was launched in Kenya about 8 years ago and comes in various sizes from the 45gm sachet that retails for about Kes 15 to the 3.5 kg pack. Ariel also has an auto wash for those with washing machines.
