Real Estate Developer Mizizi Africa Homes Limited has launched its third project despite the economic melt down occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. This comes barely a year after the company was licensed to operate in the country with an aim to develop pocket friendly high quality homes and to deliver the homes to clients on time.
Dubbed Peacock Estate, the project will consist 3 Bedroomed Bungalows, All Ensuite, Spacious Sunken Lounge & Dinning area, Large Windows for natural lighting and a Spacious laundry area. Each house at the Peacock estate will also come with tiled floors and gypsum ceiling.
Further, the developer will provide for a customisable open kitchen with a granite breakfast table, cabinets, fridge & cooker area as well as a pantry. A high perimeter wall all around the estate, Piped water from the County of Kiambu and a supplementary borehole will be available on site. Security is guaranteed while cabro roads, paved parking for two cars for each house and a Solar water heating system will be part of the package for Sh 4.2 Million cash or 4.5 Million with 2Million deposit and balance in 10 monthly instalments.
Speaking at the ground breaking event, Mizizi Africa Homes Director of operations George Mburu said that the company is offering a solution to single mothers, young people and people with low income earnings by providing affordable homes in line with President’s Uhuru’s Big Four Agenda on housing.

Since inception in June 2019, Mizizi Africa Homes Limited has received two awards. On August 16,2019, the company was recognised as the ‘Most Promising Housing Developer’ at the 2nd Annual Real Estate Excellence Awards.
Four months later on December 5,2019, the company was awarded as the winner in the category for the most improved Real Estate Developer in the use of digital solutions at the 3rd Digital Tech Excellence Awards.
Mr. Mburu attributed the gains to hard work and trust in God adding that his main focus is to regain the confidence of clients and bring back the lost hope in the real estate industry by ensuring that clients are involved in the development process from the beginning to the end.
Mizizi Africa Homes projects; Penguin, Heritage and now Peacock are located along Kenyatta Road exit 14 off Thika Superhighway, 25 minutes’ Drive from Nairobi CBD touching the tarmac. The company’s fourth project ‘Humming Bird Court’ also on Kenyatta Road is set to be launched soon.
Since inception, Mizizi Africa Homes has developed over 50 bungalows.
