CCTV captures 14 Riverside Drive terrorists

Interior Cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi has assured Kenyans that the country is safe and that security agencies are working round the clock to neutralize suspected Al Shabab gunmen who attacked a hotel and several businesses on 14 Riverside Drive in Nairobi.

Addressing press in Nairobi tonight, the Interior CS said Police had taken over the complex and were now mopping the place and gathering evidence. The CS was however tight lipped on whether the attack had been confirmed as a terror attack. Earlier in the day, Al Shabab militants through the Al jazeera news Channel had claimed responsibility for the attack. This attack comes exactly three years since the Al Shabaab ambushed Kenyan AMISOM forces in El Adde Somalia.

Official report…

As at midnight Tuesday 15th January 2019, no official report on the number of casualties had been given by government. Similarly, there was no communication on how many terrorists had attacked the premises and whether the terrorists had been neutralized by the security agencies.

However, photos and footage from a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) feed at the 14 Riverside complex; seen by thetruth.co.ke has shown four heavily armed suspected terrorists casually walk towards the Dusit Hotel and neighboring businesses to reign terror on innocent individuals. According to the CCTV footage, the terrorists took charge of the complex at about 1530hrs on Tuesday January 15 2019. SEE CLIP on Facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/rivalmediakenya/
