Celebrations as Malindi Court upholds Governor Kingi win
The High Court in Malindi has today upheld Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi’s win in  the August 2017 gubernatorial poll. The petition against Governor Kingiwin in Kilifi according to Judge Weldon Korir in his ruling earlier today, flopped due to insufficient evidence to back claims of poll malpractice. Judge Weldon Korir in his ruling also ordered the petitioner; former Cabinet secretary Kazungu Kambi to pay KSh 4million as compensation for costs incurred during the petition .
