DP Ruto negotiated for ‘nusu mkate’ after the disputed 2007 polls – Raila Odinga

NASA coalition leader Raila Odinga has exposed Deputy President William Ruto as the mastermind of the now infamous ‘nusu mkate’ government formed after the disputed 2007 General election. In response to the DP’s allegations that the opposition leader had gone abroad to lobby support from the EU to initiate talks for a coalition government, Raila Odinga responded rubbishing DP Ruto’s sentiments as kicks of dying horse.

The NASA coalition leader added that DP Ruto was too forgetful and in his ‘Vitendawili’ mockery likened the DP to a warthog;

Kitendawili?  kitendawili? kitendawili?, anachapwa hapa akifike pale amesahau,… ni nani?

‘Mimi sitaki nusu mkate, nitapatiwa mkate nusu namna gani na sisi ndio wenye boflo’

Odinga roared as the crowd cheered him on.

Raila Odinga addresses NASA supporters in Mombasa earlier today.

He revealed that in the post election violence talks of 2007, it is DP Ruto who negotiated for ‘nusu mkate’ on behalf of ODM. Odinga added that the DP was out of order to accuse him of seeking to share power with the Jubilee government. Odinga who jetted in to the country today after a two days tour of Europe said while he was away the Jubilee party together with the electoral body had insisted there would be elections on the 26th of October, he however said he had returned to tell them ‘no reforms no elections’.
