Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has taken his ‘Bottom up’ approach campaigns to Musalia Mudavadi’s Western Kenya backyard.
The DP, congregated with members of the African Church of the Holy Spirit, Dembeni, Malava in Kakamega county where leaders from the region who accompanied him, endorsed him for presidency in the 2022 general election.
No Wheelbarrows Donated…
At the church service, DP Ruto sold to the people his new political outfit (UDA) while demistifying myths around the hustler narrative as well as the ‘Bottom Up’ economic approach.
In a twist of events, no wheelbarrows were donated to wananchi at the meeting. The second in Command however donated a Car, Suzuki Vitara, to the Bishop in charge of the church.
DP Ruto was accompanied by MPs Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Didmus Barasa (Kimilili), Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu), John Waluke (Sirisia), John Kawanjiku (Kiambaa) and Benjamin Washiali (Mumias East).Others were Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) secretary-general Seth Panyako, former sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa, former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale, and Kakamega women representative aspirant Khadijah Nganyi.
