Kenyan Gospel Band Sounds of Worship (SOW) has today released their debut single video, I’ve Tasted of the Lord, the remake of a well-known worship song written by SOW bandleader James Kahero in 2008.
The single is the first in a series of releases slated for the coming months leading to their debut album, Audience of One, for release in November 2020.
Producer Romeo masterfully brings out I’ve Tasted of the Lord’s new arrangement by Kevin Motema, a story written to honor the memory of bandleaderJames Kahero’s mother. Dorcas Karanja battled long illness and passed away in 2009.
James Kahero had this to say about the new song, “Since the Lord put these words in my heart 12 years ago, every day I sing it or hear it I am convinced of God’s presence and goodness.”
The video was directed by Director Ritchie.
