Jah Cure hints at release of his latest Album in Kenya
Lovers rock Jamaican star Jah Cure is in the country! The ‘Unconditional Love’ crooner is visiting Kenya as part of his Royal Soldiers tour of the globe. His show under the Umoja Splash Festival is set to take place over the weekend at the Uhuru Gardens off Langata road Nairobi on the 6th of July from 2pm till dawn.
Speaking to journalists at a press briefing earlier today, Jah Cure stated that he is happy to be here, and has felt a connection to Kenya.”
The Splash Festival headliner spoke about his latest album ‘Royal Soldier’ and the various features on the track.He assured his fans that he has the possibility of a second Grammy nomination for his 2019 album.
Known for his strong vocal ability and smooth lyrics, Cure has continued to grow his fan base due to his talent and humility.
Reflecting on the album, he pointed out he was inspired by African historical figure Mansa Musa. Cure insisted that the need to revel in the rich history of Africa’s greatest figures is and continues to be a great resource. Asked whether he would consider releasing his album in Kenya, he responded ; ‘ Why not? lets do it! I am ready!
The album is set to be released on August 30th.
