NASA MP shot by police, rushed to Nairobi Hospital

Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch has been shot at on the leg by police in Nairobi’s Baba Dogo area. The vocal first time Member of parliament was in the entourage that visited the Ruaraka area where it is alleged that Mungiki had killed NASA supporters last night. The MP has since been rushed to Nairobi Hospital for treatment.

The NASA Leadership led by the Rt Hon Raila Odinga visited the Riverside area of Ruaraka Constituency in Nairobi after four people were reported brutally hacked to death overnight by the dreaded Mungiki gang.

The police with no provocation opened fire on the leaders and shot tear gas canisters. In the melee, Hon Anthony Oluoch, MP Mathre suffered a multiple compound fracture of the left leg from a bullet.

NASA leader Hon. Raila Odinga, The Truth has established, is headed to the Nairobi hospital to check on the legislator after visiting the Ruaraka area. The alleged killings that occurred last night have been termed by the NASA leaders an unfortunate ethnic profiling act that needs to be investigated by the police and the perpetrators brought to book. MP Oluoch is awaiting Orthopaedics surgery.
