NASA to go ahead with Odinga swearing in as coalition releases August 8 presidential poll ‘results from IEBC server’
The National Super Alliance (NASA) has today unveiled a booklet containing data it claims are the authentic results from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission- IEBC servers. The opposition coalition leaders speaking in Nairobi, said they managed to get the 2017 election results independently after the IEBC failed to open the servers as ordered by the Supreme court of Kenya after the nullification of Uhuru Kenyatta’s presidency with the highest court on the land citing massive irregularities for the nullification of the presidency.
NASA lawyer and Siaya County Senator James Orengo said the results from the IEBC server indicate that Raila Odinga and running mate Kalonzo Musyoka won the Presidential election and that from the server results, the duo will on Tuesday 30th January 2018 be sworn in as President and Deputy President.
ANC Nominated Member of Parliament and IT expert Godfrey Osotsi while demonstrating how the August 8th 2017 results were tampered with, said the IEBC servers were taken over by hackers in collaboration with IEBC officials who manipulated results in favour of Jubilee’s President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In his presentation, Hon. Osotsi revealed that Raila Odinga garnered 8, 104, 744 votes representing 50.24% while Uhuru Kenyatta garnered 7, 908, 215 representing 48.92%. He added that with the 50.24 percent win, Raila Odinga was duly elected as President of Kenya.
‘Impunity must be punished, anybody who wants to wish away the 2017 elections is acting in impunity. Here in Kenya, you catch a thief, you send him on leave and afterwards he returns to steal again. We want to ensure electoral injustice becomes a thing of the past,’ said Senator Orengo.
