NASA triumphs as Onyonka reclaims seat in Kitutu Chache South constituency

Despite the low voter turnout yesterday, the Kitutu Chahche South constituency parliamentary election that was postponed following the passing on of the  Jubilee party candidate just before the August 8th general election finally was successfully conducted.

At least 21, 000 voters  from the constituency participated in the poll with Richard Onyonka of Ford Kenya beating Jubilee’s Anthony Kibagendi.  ODM’s Samuel Omwando emerged third. Here is the final tally from the 115 out of 115 polling stations:

Hon  Onyonka at 55 years of age, is now set to serve for a third term having won the seat in 2007 on a PDP ticket, 2013,  on an ODM ticket and in 2017 on a Ford Kenya ticket.
