A man is in police custody following a citizen arrest for sexually assaulting a cow.
David Mutambuki Mbuvi was allegedly caught having sexual intercourse with a cow identified as belonging to Philis Mwathi.
According to a police report seen by thetruth.co.ke, the accused, 18, was found half naked committing the offense after allegedly tying the cow’s rear limbs with a sisal rope. The incident took place in Kitui county, Mwingi East s/county, Mui ward Ngungi s/location at Central village.
‘Today 18/4/2019 at around 2100hrs, at Mathuki Aps headquarters, one Phillis Mwathi of reported to the Station vide OB NO.11/18/4/2019 that while inside her house, Kalekye Wambua called her and informed her that she had spotted a stranger at the cattle den. Thinking it could be a cattle thief, they immediately went to the den and found the accused in the act. They immediately raised an alarm that resulted in the neighbors coming out and arresting the suspect,’

The suspect, who was found with four pieces of used condoms was then frogmarched to the Mathuki Administration Police post who took up the matter and escorted the suspect to Nguni Police post where he is being held.
