The Governor together with residents took to the streets chanting ‘Chiloba must go’ in a peaceful demo that culminated into a political rally. Addressing the residents, Governor Oparanya noted that the NASA coalition would not participate in the October 26th Presidential election if reforms were not made at the poll body.

Governor Oparanya noted that the referees for the rematch were the same and from that, the results of the match would definitely remain the same. He urged IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati to move with speed to reconstitute the IEBC before the fresh polls to ensure a free, fair and verifiable electoral process.
