Indigenous PrideInn hotel is set to participate in the 53rd edition of ITB Berlin, 2019 from 6th to 10th March 2019. Held annually, ITB Berlin is the biggest international travel trade show in the world. Every year, it draws thousands of professionals from accommodation providers to hospitality technology vendors from around the globe. In 2018, a total of 10,000 companies and organizations from 186 countries exhibited their products and services to around 170,000 visitors, including 110,000 trade visitors.
“This is a perfect platform to meet the best of the industry minds and to forge partnership with them. This also helps us understand challenges that the global hospitality industry faces today,” said Mr. Hasnain Noorani, Managing Director and founder of PrideInn Group of Hotels
ITB will present an opportunity for Kenyan hoteliers to exhibit and promote Mombasa and Kenya at large as one of the most preferred tourist destinations.
“Given our growing portfolio of hotels, we are eager to raise awareness at global platforms about our superb products while leveraging strategic business opportunities. ITB is a great forum to see the new and upcoming trends in technology that are transforming our industry faster than ever,” said PrideInn Hotels sales manager Ms. Joy Morai.
The hotel also intends to use this event to fortify Mombasa’s position as a tourism destination and increase tourist numbers.
“Mombasa and Coastal region is already among the top destinations in East Africa for tourists, who are mostly interested in the city’s unique cultural wealth, museums as well as in the events and festivals that act as peak experience and make a trip to Mombasa an unforgettable cultural journey. Moreover, they are also attracted by the inspired Swahili cuisine. They also choose Mombasa for activities such as sailing and other sea sports,” added Ms. Morai.
This year ITB Berlin is expected to attract over 170,000 global visitors including 110,000 trade visitors over the five days. Parallel with the show will be held the ITB Berlin Convention which is the largest of its kind in the world.
