Standard Chartered Bank has enhanced its SC mobile banking app to enable customers to do most transactions and requests that they could otherwise do in a physical branch at the palm of their hands round the clock, anywhere. This is in addition to enhanced cash and cheque deposit functionalities through its Cash Deposit Machines.
The Bank has announced that effective 11th October 2021, the Galleria Mall (Langata) as well as the Thika Road Mall (TRM) branches will operate between 9:00 am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to Midday on Saturdays and remain closed on Sundays.
According to Standard Chartered Bank’s Head Consumer, Private and Business Banking, Kenya & East Africa Ms Edith Chumba, the changes at the two branches are meant to enhance the way the bank serves its customers.
