SGA Kenya Limited received top recognition at the 2025 Annual KRA Taxpayers Gala held at State House, where the company was awarded for achieving the highest growth in taxes paid over the past decade, from 2015 to 2025.
During the ceremony, the President of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency Dr William Ruto, presented the Tax Award Trophy to the CEO and Chairman of SGA Security Group, Mr Julius Delahaije. An award certificate was also handed to SGA Group Chief Financial Officer, Mr Joseph Thuku.
The event, which marked KRA@30, provided the Kenya Revenue Authority with a platform to express gratitude for the commitment and compliance demonstrated by its top taxpayers. KRA noted that SGA Kenya Limited was nominated among the top echelon of distinguished taxpayers to be formally recognised by the President for its consistent adherence to administrative requirements. The authority added that SGA’s unwavering support over the past three decades has strengthened revenue mobilisation and contributed to Kenya’s economic growth.
“We at SGA are very proud of this recognition and award. We at SGA, with approximately twenty thousand staff in the East Africa region, want to be the best in class when it comes to quality private security solutions as well as for accepting responsibility to the community, being compliant and supporting the growth of Kenya,”
said CEO and Chairman Mr Julius Delahaije.
“SGA is paying its fair share and promotes equal and transparent treatment for all taxpayers. SGA has been growing steadily over the past ten years, and so have the contributions. The main taxes paid are Pay As You Earn, Value Added Tax and social security contributions,”
added SGA Group CFO Mr Joseph Thuku.
