Kenya Police Face Kakamega Homeboyz in Crucial Away Fixture

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League midweek fixture sees league leaders Kenya Police FC take on Kakamega Homeboyz FC at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County.

This critical clash could shape the direction of the title race as the season nears its conclusion.

Last weekend, Kenya Police secured a narrow away win against Bandari FC, strengthening their position at the top of the table. They currently lead with 58 points from 38 matches.

Kakamega Homeboyz are currently fifth on the log with 48 points, just behind Shabana FC.

Meanwhile, Tusker FC—who have re-entered the title race—will face FC Talanta in another midweek match. Tusker recently defeated Murang’a Seal 2-0, a result that helped them leapfrog defending champions Gor Mahia into second place. They now sit just three points behind Kenya Police, with 55 points from 38 matches.

Gor Mahia (also known as K’Ogalo) are third with 50 points and have a game in hand.

The recent postponement of the Mashemeji Derby has further added suspense to the title run-in, with key matches likely to decide the final standings in the coming weeks.
