“Drivers on our platform are more than just partners; they are at the core of our business and the communities we serve,”

said Dimmy Kanyankole, General Manager, Rides Kenya.

“Their resilience, dedication, and service excellence make mobility seamless for thousands of Kenyans every day. With ‘Drive for a Prize,’ we are not only celebrating their success but also affirming our ongoing commitment to support, empower, and reward the people who make Bolt possible.”

The ceremony saw top drivers recognized across multiple categories, with prizes that included travel experiences courtesy of ViuTravel, exclusive fuel vouchers from Total Kenya, and car accessories, among others.

One of the top winners, Evans Mutwol, who won a family trip and vehicle accessories, expressed his appreciation:

“I never imagined that my hard work would be celebrated this way. Driving with Bolt has given me the flexibility to provide for my family, and today’s recognition shows that Bolt truly values its drivers. Winning this prize motivates me to keep giving my best to riders every day.”

Another award recipient, Serah Njoki Esther, echoed the sentiment:

“This award means so much to me because it shows that consistency and commitment don’t go unnoticed. It’s not just about the prize, but the respect and appreciation we feel as drivers. Thank you to Bolt and the partners for standing with us.”

Beyond prizes, the campaign represents Bolt’s broader driver rewards strategy aimed at improving driver earnings, welfare, and community cohesion. Over the years, Bolt has rolled out various initiatives including financial literacy programs, access to health services, community-building activities, and entrepreneurial support. The company also continues to invest in safety and wellbeing programs for drivers.
